Nel 2024 ricorrevano i cento anni dalla nascita di Bud Powell, il musicista che ha rivoluzionato  il pianoforte jazz (e non solo), riscrivendone suono, stile, perfino tecnica. Da allora in tutti i  pianisti jazz c’è sempre qualcosa di Powell. Alessandro Lanzoni rende omaggio a questo  genio del bebopcon un nuovo album in piano solo che prende il nome di ”Bouncing With  Bud”.In questo inedito progetto, in uscita il 31 Agosto 2024 per la prestigiosa etichetta  spagnola Fresh Sound, il pianista reinterpreta con maestria alcuni dei suoi brani più  iconici. Fedele alla visione e al marchio compositivo di Powell, Lanzoni infonde la sua più  autentica anima artistica, creando un singolare incontro musicale che nel rispetto per il  grande maestro riflette tutta la sua personalissima identità musicale.
